World of Rental is an all-in-one property management software which helps Landlords manage and organize rental property management business from anywhere – online and from Smartphone, making you more efficient and saving your time.

World of Rental software is useful for Landlords with single or multiple rental units, home office users and anybody who collects rent.

How can I create my World of Rental account?
To create World of Rental account
- follow below steps in Website:
- Enter your Email ID and click “Getting started” button. OR Click “Sign up” from upper right corner of www.worldofrental.com.
- An email will be sent automatically to your mail account to verify your email address.
- Once you click on the Confirm your email link from the email, it will take you to the Registration page.
- Fill all the details.
- Check the checkbox below if you agree Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Click “Sign Up” button.
- Your account is created with World of Rental.
- follow below steps in Mobile App:
- After Installation, open the World of Rental App.
- Click “Sign up” to provide your Email address.
- After you add email address you’ll get a confirmation link via the mail ID you provided.
- Click on Confirm your email and open the link with world of rental app.
- Fill the required details for sign up.
- Check the box if you agree to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Now click “Sign Up” button.
- Your account is created with World of Rental.
How can I change/upgrade a plan for my account?
Follow below steps to upgrade a plan for your account:
- In Website:
- Click on your Name on upper right corner. And go to ‘Manage Account’.
- Choose a proper plan for your account.
- Fill the payment details and Save it to subscribe the plan.
- In Mobile App:
- Click on the Upgrade button from the drawer or Click on Settings → My Current Plan.
- Click on the Change Plan button.
- Choose a proper plan for your account and click on Upgrade Plan Now button.
- Fill the payment details and Save it to subscribe the plan.
I’m just getting started. Is World of Rental right for me?
If you’re just getting started then it’s the correct time to start using World of Rental. Our pricing is affordable, so don’t wait until your records are a mess.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
To reset your World of Rental password click on the Forgot Password link on Login page and follow the instructions.
What happens if I cancel/close my World of Rental account?
If you Cancel Service, then you will still be able to login to your account for 365 days from the cancellation date, but you will not be able modify your data.
While if you Close Account, then you will be able to login to your account for 30 days from the closing date, but can’t modify your data. And your data will be deleted from our server after 30 days of closing date.
What happens if I cancel recurring payment of my paid account?
If you Cancel Recurring, the recurring payment will be cancelled by the next recurring date. You can continue using WorldofRental.com services till the next recurring date.
After that date your services will be cancelled. You will still be able to login to your account for 365 days from the cancellation date. You will not be able to modify any details, you will only be able to view details.

How do I update or change my credit card details ?
If your credit card has expired or you want to change your credit card
- in Website follow below steps:
- Click on your Name on upper right corner. And go to ‘Manage Account’.
- From the left menu select Payment Details and update your credit card details.
- in Mobile App follow below steps:
- Click on Settings from Drawer menu. And go to ‘Manage Account’.
- Click Payment Details.
- Click Add Payment Details button and update your credit card details.
Why do my Dashboard shows $ 0 income and $ 0 expense ?
The income & expense transaction totals displayed on the dashboard of your App and web application are for current financial year. If all your income and expense transactions are before the financial year start date your will see $ 0 on the dashboard.
You can change the financial year start date under your App settings from My Profile → App Settings in web while go to Settings → App settings for mobile apps. Once you make that change you will notice that Income and Expense totals on dashboard will also change from $ 0 to the appropriate values.

Can I make my property Active/Inactive from listing?
Yes, you can make your property Active/Inactive mode from listing.

- Go to the Properties.
- Choose the property.
- Just click on arrow under Action & click the Active/Inactive button
- in Mobile App follow below steps:
- Go to the Properties.
- Open the details of a particular property.
- Click the Active/Inactive button.
Can I delete my Property?
Yes, you can delete your Property data.
- in Website follow below steps:
- Go to Properties.
- Choose the Property you want to delete from the list, click Delete button.
- Before deleting Property you have to clear all Transactions for that particular Property.
- in Mobile App follow below steps:
- Go to Properties.
- Choose the Property you want to delete from the list, open its detail page and click Delete button.
- Before deleting Property you have to clear all Transactions for that particular property.
Can I invite my Tenant to World of Rental?
Yes, of course, you can invite your Tenant to World of Rental.

- Go to Tenants → Tenants List.
- Choose the Tenant you want to invite from the list, click on “Invite Tenant to World of Rental” button.
- in Mobile App follow below steps:
- Go to Tenants → Tenants List.
- Choose the Tenant you want to invite from the list, click on “Invite” button.
Can multiple Landlords invite a single Tenant?
Yes, multiple Landlords can invite a single Tenant but no information is shared in between the Landlords.
Can Tenant close his/her account of World of Rental?
Yes, Tenant can close his/her account.

- Click on Settings(Gear) symbol on upper right corner.
- Now click Close Account.
- Check the box under Close Account and click Close Account button.
- In Mobile App follow below steps:
- Go to Settings from Drawer Menu.
- Click on the Close Account tab.
- Check the checkbox and click Close Account button.
Can Tenant reopen his account again?
To reopen Tenant’s Account again; Login with the same credentials, and then follow the prompts to reopen the account.
Can I assign same Tenant to multiple Properties?
Yes, you can assign same Tenant to multiple Properties in Assign Tenant page.
There will be an option Select Tenant which indicate available Tenants list. So choose any of them to assign the selected Property. Repeat this for assigning multiple Properties.
Can I assign multiple Tenants to a single Property or an Unit ?
No, you cannot assign multiple Tenants to single Property or unit unless it has a current Tenant. In order to add other Tenant, you need to make the previous Tenant status Past first.
How can I receive alert notifications for particular Tenant?
To receive alert notification for particular Tenant.
- In website: Alerts can be seen on the panel beside the Menu on the top right corner; based on the date that you have selected, system generated alerts will automatically notify you.
- In mobile app: Whichever date you have selected for alert notification, you will be notified by an alert message on your smart phone.
Does World of Rental track lease details such as start and end date and rent amount?
- Yes, World of Rental tracks start and end dates and provides you with alert message depending on your preferences when lease is expiring and current tenants are scheduled to move out and when new tenants are scheduled to move in.
Can I send lease end alert mail manually to a particular Tenant?
Yes, you can send termination of tenancy mail for your Property to particular Tenant.
- In website for sending lease end alert mail follow below steps:
- Go to Reports → Rent Lease Status
- Click Email button for the particular Tenant.
- Fill the details in the form and click Send button, mail will be sent to respective Tenant.
- In mobile app for sending lease end alert mail follow below steps:
- Go to Reports → Rent Lease Status
- Choose the Property and open its details.
- Click Email button for the particular Tenant.
Can I upload Documents?
Yes, World of Rental allows you to attach various documents such as Rental Agreements, Applications, Notices and more depending on your subscription.
Can I generate receipt for Paid/ Unpaid Transactions for particular Tenant?
Yes, you can generate receipt for collected/pending transaction payment for particular Tenant.
- In Website follow below steps:
- For generating receipt, go to All Transactions list.
- Click on Receipt button one pop up will be shown containing two options Email Receipt and Save to PDF.
- By clicking Email Receipt button you can make email for confirming payment.
- By Clicking Save to PDF button you can generate PDF for particular transaction and save it locally in your system.
- In Mobile App follow below steps:
- For generating receipt, go to Transactions listing.
- Click on Email Receipt button.
- By clicking Send button you can send mail to respective Tenant from the list.
Can I take back-up of my Financial Reports of all Properties or a particular Property?
Yes, you can take backup of Financial Reports for any particular month, year or between custom dates as per your choice from Report section.
- In Website follow below steps:
- For taking backup click on Export button. And you will get all transaction details for a particular property in xls, xlsx or PDF formats.
- To export financial reports of all properties, click Export All button on the top right corner of Financial Reports page.
- In Mobile App follow below steps:
- For taking backup click on Export button. And you will get all transaction details for a particular property in CSV formats.

How to restart my recurring payment again?
If you restart your recurring payment before the upcoming recurring date, then your recurring payment will restart again. But if you re-start it after the upcoming recurring date, then you will be instantly charged as per your package plan.
